INsPIRE Project - INformation, Participation & Involvement of employees on non-financial reporting in the European food and drink sector aims at developing actions to promote the analysis, discussion, knowledge and dissemination of the issues of non-financial reporting, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and diversity in the activities of the European Work Councils (EWC) of some multinational companies.
In order to achieve these results, the partnership will develop the following activities:
Determination of training and information needs, by desk research, questionnaires and workshops
Exchange of information, sharing of best practices and discussion of relevant issues in the field of non-financial reporting
Training and information on the most relevant issues of CSR;
Communication and dissemination of the Project as a whole, including the results, recommendations and collected good practices.
The Partnership is the following:
CDS (Centro ricerche Documentazione Studi) of Ferrara (Lead Partner);
I-CSR Foundation (Italian Centre for Social Responsibility);
FAI-CISL (Italian Federation of Agricultural Food Environment trade union);
EFFAT (European Federation of Food, Agriculture and Tourism Trade Unions).
and will collaborate with at least two multinational companies of the agro-food sector that have enabled European Work Councils.
The project has a duration of 24 months starting on 1 December 2014 and will end on November 30, 2016.
